With an electronic engineering background and years
of industry experience, Val DiGiacinto has been a consultant to the industry
and a frequent speaker and educator at venues such as PODI AppForum, OnDemand,
New York DM Days, NYU, FIT, RIT, Parsons, Spectrum and American Printer
Variables Conference, on topics including Digital Printing, Variable Data
Printing, Cross Media Marketing, Web-toPrint, Mobile Marketing and QR Code Campaigns
and Printing Solutions. He currently serves on the Advisory Board at the NYU SCPS, is a member of PODI, Dscoop, AGC, P3 (IDEAlliance),
DMCNY, DMA, PIA and has served on the Board of the Advertising Production Club
of New York and PODI’s DEX S3 Board. He has served on the Board and as President
of the CPA, XDPA, ICE and DICE.
With a comprehensive background in all aspects of
production, from Pre-press to Bindery, he was responsible for the
production of the 100% Variable Data magazine called "mine magazine".
Published by Time Inc. for Lexus, "mine" was a 36-page plus cover
magazine, published and printed digitally, every 3 weeks, and mailed to over 36,000 subscribers. "mine" has been called "an industry changing event."
